South HoCo Cork & More Wine Walk returns Saturday

Posted

The South Howard County Historical Society will host its annual Cork and More Wine Walk this weekend to downtown New Franklin. The event runs form 3 to 6 p.m. and features wine, beer, spirits, music, food, and vendors.

Local vendors such as Beckett’s Winder, Skullsplitter Spirits, and Bee’s Knees Brewery will be among the dozen crafters.

Fireside Bakes & Brews, which was scheduled to open a second location in New Franklin today, will serve food.

The annual event raises funds for the South Howard County Historical Society, which operates a museum in downtown New Franklin and built the display for the Conestoga Wagon. The museum closes for the winter, but will reopen in April. A dedication for the Conestoga Wagon display is planned for April 20.
