The Fayette Optimist Club will host its annual Spring BBQ fundraiser on Sunday in the parking lot of C&R Market.
This marks the 20th year of the fundraiser. Proceeds from this year’s BBQ will fund the annual Optimist Scholarships, which are presented to Fayette High School seniors.
Meals include pork steak with potato salad and baked beans. The cost is $10 per plate.
The American Women for Education will sell desserts.
Meal service begins at 10:30 a.m. until runs until all food is sold. The BBQ fundraiser is very popular, and meals tend to sell out quickly.
