Linn Memorial United Methodist Church will host a special afternoon of Christmas crafts and fun for kids from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Children of all ages are welcome, regardless of church membership. Sensory bags will be available to entertain the little ones while kids three and older make ornaments to take home. Craft projects include snow globes, coloring, and soft dough hand molds.
The event will include story time focusing on the symbols of Christmas.
Parents are invited to enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, donuts, and popcorn.
And no Christmas event would be complete without a visit from the man in red. Children will have the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap to recount their Christmas lists to the jolly old elf. Parents are welcome to take pictures.
The event is free, and everyone is welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
See the advertisement on Page 2 of the print edition for more details.
