Fayette coach Kole Hinton is introducing something new at this year’s preseason football jamboree, which is Friday night at CMU’s Davis Field. The team will have a merchandise stand where fans can stock up on their black and gold, and there will be a silent auction.
The Falcons will auction off a signed jersey, signed helmet, and Mizzou apparel. This auction will also have unique fan opportunities. A top bidder will win the opportunity to design and call a play during the season. The winning bidder will be able to design their own play. Other experiences up for auction will include the ability to be a part of the pregame locker room.
This year’s auction will take place at the jamboree, but next year Coach Hinton says he hopes to hold a larger event with a dinner and auction to raise funds for the team and give parents and fans opportunities to bid for these unique experiences.
