Bee’s Knees owner joins board of Mo. Craft Brewers Guild’s

Posted

The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild has confirmed that Chris Byars, Owner and Brewer of Bee’s Knees Brewing Company in Versailles and The Taproom at the Nest in Fayette, will join the Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Retiring from the board this year is Tyson Hunt of Logboat Brewing, who has served two consecutive three-year terms on the board.

Missouri is the home to more than 160 independent craft breweries. Those breweries and brewpubs employ more than 8,500 people in the state with a $1.2 billion economic impact.

The primary focus of the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is to advocate for a just and rational regulatory and statutory environment at the state and federal levels and to promote independent craft brewers in Missouri.
