Two Fayette teachers have resigned, effective at the end of the school year, and three teachers will become tenured next school year. The decisions were approved by the Board of Education during the closed session portion of its March 17 meeting.

Long-time elementary teacher Sarah Page will retire at the end of this school term. Most recently she has been teaching second grade at Daly Elementary. Band director Jennifer Rubin submitted her notice of resignation effected June 30. This was her first year teaching at Fayette.

Three Fayette teachers will become tenured beginning in the fall. Contracts for second-grade teacher Kyle Hedges, elementary and middle school art teacher Erica Henningsen, and high school teacher Garth Menees all were all approved.
