The Howard County Health and Wellness Council is sponsoring a Race Around the Square, in conjunction with this week’s Fayette Juneteenth celebration.
Young runners up to fifth grade will compete in races around the courthouse square in three age groups. The competition kicks off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 17.
Snacks and water will be provided. Winners will receive medals and prizes. There is no need to pre-register. Runners should show up ready to race.
