Mr. James W. Brundage, 89, of Nunnelly Tennessee, formally a resident of Fayette Missouri, died Saturday morning, January 2, 2021, at the hospital in Dickson Tennessee, due to cardiac health problems.  

James will be laid to rest at Hackley Cemetery in Howard County. A zoom memorial will be held in Tennessee on January 30, 2021, at 3 p.m. for those wishing to attend. Information is as follows: Join a meeting ID: 7984461264 and Password: 1914.

James Brundage was born March 13, 1931, in Howard County, eldest son of Vincent Lee and Bessie (Wright) Brundage. James was married to Bessie Mae Ewens on May 11, 1955, who preceded him in death on December 10, 1983. After Bessie’s passing James then married Norma Wood, on April 25, 1986. James attended Glasgow High School where he participated in sports and graduated in 1950. James worked for the Shoe Factory in Boonville, Fayette Co-op, and the Howard County Courthouse in Fayette before retiring and moving to Tennessee. James will be remembered for his love of family, music, playing guitar, and fishing. James loved to entertain family and friends with music and jokes. 

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Karrick, his brother Donald Brundage and wife Bessie Mae (Ewens) Brundage, great-granddaughter Kuristen (Melessia) Ewings. 

In addition to his wife, Norma (Wood) Brundage, Tennessee survivors include a son Ricky (Mary) Brundage of Glasgow, Missouri; Daughter Tammy (Curtis) Rambin of Tennessee; step-children Lynda Brundage of Florida; Millie (Al) Jones of Tennessee; Danny Wood of Florida; Karyn (Mike) Tanner of Tennessee; Jon (Tina) Wood of Florida; Scott (Paula) Wood Fayette, Missouri. Biological grandchildren are Melessia Ewings of Glasgow, Missouri; Rebecca (Dakota) Yung of Armstrong, Missouri; Amanda (Danny) Parks of Glasgow, Missouri; Chance Brundage of Florida; two grandchildren formally known as Andrew and Bessie Rambin; 15 step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
