To the Editor:
I have been reading and listening to both proponents and opponents of Amendment 3 and trying to decipher the amendment.
I am thankful to our paper for publishing the MASSIVE amendment proposal. Who can ever look at that entire page and not feel overwhelmed? We as voters should never have to wade through such mumbo-jumbo. It’s almost scandalous.
Having come to the conclusion that my needs are different (as a Howard Countian) than an urban citizen of St. Louis or Greene County, I am voting Yes to repeal the redistricting of our representatives. I cannot fathom how a farmer’s concerns and a densely populated city’s citizen could be represented fairly by the same representative.
