Holiday House distribution Dec. 12

Posted

The 2020 Christmas Holiday House gift distribution will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the First Baptist Church Education Building in Fayette.

The Christmas Holiday House project distributes toys, games, art supplies, books, hats, and gloves to provide happy holiday celebrations for registered families. Last year, Christmas Holiday House served 229 children, from newborns through those 12 years of age in Howard County.

Support for the Holiday House project comes from individuals, church groups, and civic organizations. Those wishing to contribute to the 2020 Christmas Holiday House may do so by sending cash donations to treasurer, Pat Hilgedick, 105 Givens Road, Fayette. New items—toys, books, games, puzzles, art supplies, hats and gloves—are also accepted. Drop boxes for gifts will be placed at local banks as well as C&R Market and The Peacock in Fayette.

Families wishing to register for Christmas Holiday House may do so at the First Baptist Church Education Building from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, or Saturday, Nov. 21.

Christmas Holiday House is a community program under the auspices of First Christian Church Outreach Committee.  This is the nineteenth year for the project.

For further information, or to volunteer to help in any way, contact Pat Hilgedick (660-248-3172), or Beverly Markland (660-248-2491).
