Josh Henderson and Breanna Estes were crowned King and Queen at the Fayette High School Homecoming football game Friday night. Henderson is a senior right tackle and defensive end on the football team. Estes is a standout hitter and right fielder for the Falcons softball team.
Other king and queen candidates were Kaden Polson, Cody Hilgedick, Kylea Hoover, and VC Alexander. The Homecoming court was made up of freshmen attendants Cash Valencia and Morgan Dix, sophomores Kyler Heath and Hannah Quint, and juniors Jordyn Ball and Chris Brown. The football game capped off the annual weeklong celebration that included dress-up days and the traditional parade around the courthouse square.
Fayette went on to defeat Lewis & Clark conference foe Paris 32-0 on the gridiron. A full recap of the game appears on Page 7 of this newspaper.
