It may still be scorching Missouri summer weather, but one new attraction is ready to celebrate autumn. 3 Best Friends Farm opened Friday evening along Highway 240.
The project of property owner Josh Kirby and friends Leremie Shaffer and Jeremy Dawson, the attraction boasts hay rides, a straw maze, and a petting zoo. Attendees may also try their hands at the pumpkin slingshot and axe throwing. Friday’s Grand Opening featured fire dancers and a fireworks display.
Pumpkins are for sale at the farm, and vendors will be featured throughout the season.
The farm is located at 1655 Highway 240, about four miles south of Fayette, near what is colloquially referred to as the “Lucky Barn.” Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through November 5.
