The City of Fayette is once again seeking donations to help pay for the annual Independence Day fireworks display at the Fayette City Park.
The cost of this year’s show totals $4,200, the same as last year. The price was increased from $3,500 to $4,200 in 2022.
J&M Displays, from Slater, will again present the display, which begins when the sun has set on July 4. The show is traditionally funded by donations.
As of Monday, only $250 had been donated toward the show. The Fayette Advertiser on Thursday made a donation in the amount of $100.
Stop by City Hall on South Main Street to donate to the show. Checks should be made out to “The City of Fayette.”
