Brandy Erika Yates, daughter of Chris and Karen (Keeney) Worley, was born on October 8, 1980, in Osage Beach, Missouri. She departed this life on June 14, 2023, near Macks Creek, Missouri, at the age of 42 years, eight months, and six days.

On June 10, 2012, she was united in marriage to Justin Yates. Together they shared 11 years of marriage.

She was preceded in passing by her paternal grandparents, Lowell and Maxine Sims; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Patricia Keeney; and one uncle, Kevin Worley.

She is survived by her husband, Justin Yates, of the home; her parents, Chris & Karen Worley of Lake Ozark, Missouri; two daughters, Paris Yates and Sophia Yates; one son, Justus Yates; three sisters, Quinn Barlund of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Devon Worley of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Meghan Worley of Springfield, Missouri; one niece, Kaet Roberts and her husband Steve; one nephew, Aiden Worley; one great-niece, Ecko; one great-nephew, Skylar; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

Brandy was raised in Lake Ozark, Missouri, and was a 1999 graduate of School of the Osage. Following graduation, she attended Central Methodist College before moving to Springfield, Missouri, to attend college at Missouri State University. The lake called her back home in 2004, where she was able to finish her degree at Columbia College in 2007. She and the love of her life, Justin, began dating in 2011, marrying a year later and welcoming their daughter Sophia in July of 2013. In 2015, Brandy completed her degree in Sonography and began the career which she so passionately loved.

Brandy was a lover of water and only felt at home around the lake or the ocean. Through this love of the lake, she became a shining star for her entire lake family. She never met a stranger and had a gift for lighting up any room with her radiant smile and infectious personality. Her love for vibrant fashions and all things that sparkle made it feel as if the room was filled with pink and diamonds when she walked in. She also loved the beach, dolphins, dancing, and travel. Most of all, she loved being a wife and mother and cherished her family dearly.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, neighbor, and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Osage Hills Church in Osage Beach, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Little Niangua Cemetery in Preston, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Osage Hills Church in Osage Beach, Missouri.
