The Boonslick Heartland YMCA on March 23 began providing grab-and-go meals to youths below the ages of 18 in Fayette and surrounding communities through September. Meals are distributed once a week at the First Baptist Church parking lot in Fayette.
Each Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m., a week’s worth of meals are handed out and include breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and includes an evening snack.
Children do not need to be present to pick up the meals, however, parents must first register. Registrations are available in the Fayette Utility office and may be taken to the Boonslick Heartland YMCA office at 757 Third Street in Boonville, faxed, or emailed. Interested parents should contact the Food Program Director at cyndir@bhymca.org with questions or completed forms.
