Kaylea is the 17-year-old daughter of Tory and Jinger Felten. She will be a senior at Fayette High School this fall. After high school, she plans to attend State Fair Community College to major in AG Business with a future in seed sales. In 2019, Kaylea was crowned Miss Howard County Teen. She is currently Vice President of Cherry Grove 4-H as well as Vice President for Fayette FFA. This fall, she will be the President of Fayette FFA for the 2023-2024 school year. Kaylea enjoys raising and showing her pigs and is proud that she will be showing her first home-raised spotted guilt this year. 

Academically, Kaylea has received the Greenhand and Chapter FFA degrees and star farmer. She was awarded MVP Basketball Award and has been a three-year Renaissance card holder. 

Gretta is the 18-year-old daughter of Lisa and Stephen Murrell. She is currently a student at MACC, Moberly, in the EMT Program, where she is becoming a Paramedic. This is one step in her dream job of becoming a medic on the AirMed Life Flight Helicopter. Gretta started her healthcare journey when she was 16, working at Hometown Homecare in Fayette. She is currently working at the University of Missouri as a tech. She enjoys knowing she is making a difference in someone’s day or life, knowing that if they’re in the hospital, they’re probably not having a good day. 

Earlier this spring, Gretta graduated from Glasgow High School as a part of the National Honors Society and National Society of High School Scholars. She was also active at Moberly Area Technical Centers Medical Program, where she graduated with distinction. She received the A+ scholarship and was active in the student council. 

Sida is the 14-year-old daughter of Jessica and Travis Gregory. This fall, she will be a freshman at Fayette High School. She plans to play with the softball and basketball teams. She stays busy with horse riding, playing on the Outlaws softball team, and loves spending time outside with her animals. Sida plans to be active in AG classes and band this fall as a freshman. She has earned an academic school board award and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. In the future, she is planning to either become a welder or surveyor. Once the time arises, she will decide on a college. Sida has lived in Howard County all her life and has never missed a Howard County Fair! 

Gracie is the 14-year-old daughter of Edward Innes Jr. and Carrie Daniels. This fall, she will attend Fayette High School. In the future, she plans to find a part-time job while continuing to be an excellent student. After high school, she wants to pursue a nursing career but will keep her options open. 

Gracie remembers being Howard County Princess in 2013 and enjoys all the memories that came with it. In 2021 Gracie competed in the Howard County 4-H and open horse show, walking away with Grand Champion in the 4-H and Reserve Grand Champion in the open. 

Gracie has always had an excellent academic record, with at least a 3.45 GPA, being awarded student of the month, a representative for the student council, and student council president.

Melissa is the 16-year-old daughter of Carrie Daniels and Edward Innes. She attends Fayette High School. She plans to attend Mizzou and major in animal science, then to become a horse trainer, large animal vet, and farrier. If that doesn’t work, she plans to start her own cattle ranch or be an AG teacher. 

She recently became an FFA officer and made it to the district level in extemporaneous speaking. She also plays with the varsity basketball team as a freshman. Academically, she was awarded academic excellence for AG 1 and AG 2, honor roll, student of the month, and Glory of Missouri Award for friendship. 

Luci is the 15-year-old daughter of Angela and Tano Mateu. This fall, she will attend high school in New Franklin. Her plans include becoming a marketing executive and doing hair and make-up on the side to help others feel good about themselves. Luci has many accomplishments, including Aquinas Academy, a blue ribbon in a speech competition, being cheerleading captain, and becoming student council president. Academically, she has received excellence in achievement in Marketing, earned the DAR History Award, and the health and fitness award. 

Kadence is the 13-year-old daughter of Amber & Troy Overfelt and the late Chad Sulltrop. She attends Clark Middle School. In the future, she would like to be a kindergarten teacher and own her own photography business focusing on kids and animals. Kadence is a member of Cherry Grove 4H club, 14U Outlaw softball, Lady Falcon softball and basketball teams, CMS Yearbook, CMS Student Council, and PBIS committee. She has achieved National Junior Honor Society and school board GPA awards.
